How much does Tomedes pay?

Tomedes typically offers a range of $0.05 up to $0.45 per source word, depending on the language pair, the technicality of the subject being translated, and whether the translation is made from scratch or is for machine translation post-editing.

Other factors that may affect pay include several criteria such as experience and subject matter expertise, the number of projects a translator accepts within a monthly period, and his/her quality score compared to the other translators being considered for the project.

Payment process

Translators will receive an email statement every first week of the month that lists all projects completed during the previous month. Once the translators find no discrepancies or mistakes, he/she should send an invoice to the company based on the received statement within 7 days for timely payments.   

Tomedes' payment terms are at the end of the month plus 30 days after receiving the invoice. For example, the payment for a project completed in March will be received by the end of April. If the payment method is through international bank transfer, translators should expect up to three days delay.
