Lead UX Designer

Bounteous x Accolite seeks a seasoned Lead User Experience Designer with a passion for creative problem-solving and crafting data-driven, human-centered solutions. This role involves driving experience strategy and design quality while mentoring colleagues and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create impactful, inclusive, and accessible user experiences.

Responsibilities

• User Research: Conduct and analyze user research to understand needs, behaviors, and preferences; create personas, journey maps, and empathy maps.
• Experience Design: Lead discovery activities, develop experience strategies, and create deliverables like user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Content Strategy: Create content governance models, taxonomies, and information architecture to align with user, business, and brand goals.
• Accessibility & Inclusion: Advocate for and implement accessibility best practices to design for all users.
• User Testing: Plan and execute user testing to inform and improve designs through iterative feedback cycles.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior designers, and establish design standards within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years in UX design, with at least 2 years in a digital-first agency or consultancy.
• Skills: Strong background in user-centered design, information architecture, and accessibility best practices. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and tools like Userlytics and Optimal Workshop.
• Expertise: Experience with responsive design, design systems, stakeholder engagement, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
