About the Role:

We’re looking for experienced Senior Mobile Developers to join a world-leading media company specializing in 24-hour English-language news. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain high-performing, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications using React Native and other modern technologies. Work closely with a talented team to deliver exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Optimize apps for performance, usability, and security.
• Stay current with emerging mobile development trends.
• Collaborate with team members to define requirements and meet milestones.
• Review and enhance source code, ensuring alignment with coding standards.
• Develop new features and support existing ones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience, with 7+ in mobile development.
• Proven expertise in React Native, iOS, and Android.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Unit Testing, and Git.
• Familiarity with modern CSS/Sass/Less and SOLID principles.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL, Jest, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).
• Knowledge of connected devices (e.g., Apple TV) and ads/news app development.
• Experience with pair programming and automated testing.

What We Offer:

• Fully remote, full-time (40 hours/week) role.
• Flexible hours with mandatory overlap from 2 PM to 7 PM (UTC+3).
• No end date, independent contractor agreement.
