Developer Experience Engineer

The Role

As a Developer Experience Engineer, you’ll design and build developer tools that make working with Ritual’s AI-blockchain infrastructure seamless and enjoyable. Your contributions will shape how developers interact with Ritual, driving adoption and innovation.

What You’ll Do:

• Create development frameworks and tools to enhance developer productivity.
• Identify and resolve friction points in the developer journey.
• Build fast local development environments and intuitive CLIs/SDKs.
• Design debugging, simulation, and testing capabilities for AI-enabled smart contracts.
• Develop clear documentation and engaging tutorials to empower developers.
• Run workshops, hackathons, and nurture a thriving open-source community.

About You:

• Expertise in Rust, TypeScript, or Python.
• Proven track record in open-source contributions and developer tool creation.
• Deep understanding of EVM architecture, smart contracts, and AI workflows.
• Proficiency with MLOps tools, container technologies, and deployment patterns.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Self-directed, high-energy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with tools like Foundry, Anvil, or wagmi.
• Background in AI infrastructure, distributed systems, or consensus mechanisms.
• Expertise in building compiler toolchains, intuitive APIs, and developer communities.
