As a Senior Product Designer on the Save team, you will design intuitive user experiences that empower users to save money and manage their finances. The Save team focuses on simplifying savings and enhancing financial well-being through features like automated savings, cost-saving services, and debt management tools. You will lead the design process from concept to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create clear and engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design of key product features, ensuring usability, accessibility, and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the design process, including wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
- Apply user-centered design principles, leveraging research, personas, and journey mapping.
- Conduct or collaborate on user research and usability testing, iterating based on feedback.
- Use data and analytics to guide design decisions and achieve user and business goals.
- Present concepts and progress to stakeholders, clearly articulating design rationale.
- Innovate and propose new ways for users to engage with Rocket Money’s services.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance user experience.
About You
- At least 6 years of experience in user experience design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Figma, with experience in tools like Sketch as a bonus.
- Strong understanding of how design decisions translate into code.
- Ability to lead initiatives from concept to completion with precision and efficiency.
- Empathetic approach, always considering user impact in your designs.
- Problem-solving mindset, thriving on challenges and innovation.
- Open-minded, willing to compromise when necessary for project success.
- Collaborative team player who values feedback and continuous improvement.
