Brand Communications Officer
The Mozilla Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to an open and accessible internet, is seeking a Brand Communications Officer to enhance its brand identity and amplify its mission globally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to strengthen Mozilla Foundation’s position in the tech industry and public sphere.
- Craft audience-informed messaging to boost credibility and influence.
- Design and maintain a cohesive visual, written, and experiential brand identity aligned with Mozilla’s broader mission.
- Train leadership and staff to effectively communicate core messages across channels.
- Build and nurture partnerships with the tech sector, media, entertainment, and activist communities to expand brand reach.
- Collaborate on creative campaigns, live events, and sponsorship opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of strategic experience in branding, digital marketing, or partnerships.
- Expertise in communications, particularly in the media and entertainment industries.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional storytelling campaigns and forge press relationships.
- Strong knowledge of corporate communications, social media, and content amplification.
- Skilled in project management and working under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry organizations and thought leadership opportunities.
Salary Ranges (by Location):
- US: $117,100–$131,523.70
- Canada: $158,085–$177,557
- UK: £75,880.80–£85,227.36
- Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Italy: €91,572.20–€102,851.53
Specific ranges for high-cost markets, such as New York and London, are also available.
